Old photographs
This photograph was taken around 1960, while RF453 was allocated to Southall garage. It is seen at Ealing Broadway working route 211. Of interest are the experimental trafficator mountings without the rubberised fittings later provided.

A late 1976 view finds a grimy and battered RF453 at Richmond with a positive “gaggle” of elderly ladies ready to fumble with their purses as they board. The buildings are largely unchanged today, although most of the shop frontages have been rebuilt and the true seventies flowers have gone. Route 202 operated between Hounslow and Richmond.

RF453 is seen taking a break from operation on route 237 during 1977 at Hounslow Bus Station. The building behind is Hounslow Garage, home for the vehicle for several years.
