Bicester Scramble (& FBHVC Drive-It Day)
28/4/19

We took our Riley car to this event at Bicester Heritage.

When we arrived we were parked in the souped-up car area but they left early and we were later joined by some rather nicer vehicles – next to our OWU 103 (right) is 1969 MG Midget SLV 729G, and 1959 Austin Healey UHR 44

I had never heard of Gilbern as a car manufacture until seeing SHK 68K, which is a 1972 Gilbern Genie built in Wales.

One of my favourite vehicles is the Volvo Sugga, built for the Swedish Army. 626 YUE is one of relatively few to be seen in the UK.

An unusual vehicle to be in use for catering was Ford Thames RSJ 195, although it has apparently been re-engined and re-gearboxed.
